When I ask you to turn your thoughts to fun, what comes to mind? An activity of some kind? Most of us think of the activities that light us up with some kind of excitement. But fun isn’t the activity. Fun is the FEELING of aliveness that results. The inner experience – the aliveness – is actually what we’re responding to when engaged in activities we perceive to be fun. Although we do associate activities with the feeling, the feeling itself is the fun. 💫
Generating feelings of fun, stems from the intersection of spaciousness, connection, playfulness, and flow. When we align these four, the magic of feeling fun arises regardless of the activity . . . of course, dancing with friends is probably an activity more likely to align with feelings of fun than say, giving our car an oil change. 😉 But, the point is, fun depends on an inner alignment.
