Dear ones, we’re back with another peek into hand analysis and our exploration of gift markers. This week we’re looking at the Star of Apollo gift marker. Apollo was the sun god in Greek and Roman mythology. He’s recognized for truth, the arts, and being in the spotlight. 😎
Those that bear this gift marker are meant to shine their individuality and creativity into the world unapologetically . . . they’re the gifted performers who should be reaching the masses! They will have an insatiable urge for self-expression.
The shadow side of this marker would be getting stuck in conformity and/or a fear of rejection. When underutilized or not utilized at all, this marker will penalize its bearer with apathy and lethargy. (I know this experience first hand,😉 as I actually have multiple Stars of Apollo on both hands. For me, these markers are closely tied to my life lessons, subsequently making the use of the gifts even harder to align with fully.)
The Star of Apollo can be found in the Apollo Mount, circled below in red, beneath the Apollo (ring) finger. Do you see the star? Remember, to be a fully realized gift marker, the star must have at least six spokes.
Here’s the Star of Apollo drawn below in red. Do you have Stars of Apollo? 🌟 Are you using your creative talents, being unapologetically authentic, and putting yourself out there?
Although we can pinpoint gifts and other aspects in the hands on a stand alone basis, to get to the heart of who we are and how to step fully into our soul purpose, we must study the hands in totality for a comprehensive picture. If you’re ready to take a deep dive into your life school(s), soul purpose, and life lesson(s), you can book a hand analysis reading here:
Inspired! . . .
Architecture was my first love. My mother’s parents were architects and the home they lived in when I was a child in South Africa, was one they designed and built in the mid-century modern style . . . that house still lives in my imagination as my ideal home realized. Once upon a time I thought I too would become an architect and although I never did realize that goal, architecture continues to inspire me daily.
These days I’m inspired by all the ways designers and architects are building in elevated ways with surprising materials, especially if they’re building to create community engagement (which was the kind of building I wanted to do).
This TED Talk on bamboo building just made me smile for how fun and playful the buildings are:
This TED Talk on buildings that merge nature and community is very aligned with a vision I had hoped to realize:
I love to travel! It’s such an inherent part of who I am, that I find it amusing that others are so reluctant. (For the record, I have a traveling life line in my hands, so I couldn’t shake the wanderlust even if I wanted to . . . maybe you can relate?!) I recently discovered Eugene Levy’s show, The Reluctant Traveler, on Apple TV and to my delight, this show makes me laugh and leaves me inspired that Levy, in his 70’s and travel averse, has decided to give this magnificent planet a bit more of his attention. 💞
It’s my purpose and joy to help you align with your purpose and joy! Reach out if you feel inspired to connect, share your own recommendations so we can spread the joy, or if you're enjoying my newsletters, share them. Wishing you all a beautiful week!
With love from my whole being,
