Dear beautiful souls,
We’re back with another hands immersion post! This week I thought it would be fun to look at how themes emerge that reinforce our purpose. Last week, I mentioned in my post that I’d been experiencing some of the penalties for not using my gifts enough in recent months, so we’ll use my hands as an example, because mine are extreme and should help clarify why we need to get motivated to use our gifts and fulfill our purpose . . .
I want to remind everyone that we’re all an exquisite facet of the myriad diversity of the universe. We all have something uniquely ours to offer the expansion of cosmic consciousness and therefore, it’s in our best interest, and the best interest of the collective, if we actualize our gifts. We’re here to live our purpose, unapologetically!

I was born to be a healer. Confirmation of this can be found in the rarity of the fingerprint on my left Mercury (pinkie) finger, which is a peacock (circled in red below). Given how rare this fingerprint is on this particular finger, this marker alone overrides all other markers in my hands.
But, I also carry the “Medical Stigmata” or healer gift marker - the collection of vertical lines that descend below the Mercury finger (drawn in red below), which are lines indicating that I’ve developed the skills to be a healer. I think of this marker as Chiron – The Wounded Healer – energy, as this marker is all about working on healing oneself, then bringing that wisdom into the world to help others similarly heal. The gifts of this marker are communication, inspiring others to grow, and being a mediator between the inner and outer worlds. The challenges are to heal oneself and to learn to trust the process. If this gift goes unused, the bearer will be penalized with dead-end intimacy and getting stuck in self-destructive habits/patterns, finally moving into the shadow side, which is trust issues (self and other).
My head line is the “Persephone” head line, which is one of the line gift markers (the long line that spans the palm drawn in red below). This is a long head line that plunges deep into the Moon Mount, which is the zone of deep meaning, vision, imagination, intuition, and spirituality. Persephone is the “helper of lost souls.” This gift marker demonstrates gifts of high intuition, creativity, and deep wisdom that wants to help others plump their depths. The challenges of this marker are learning to trust oneself and navigating between the inner and outer worlds with ease and grace. The penalties for not using this gift will be an ongoing struggle with inner demons, being impractical, and attracting lost souls who are out of their integrity (think of this as those who will take advantage and take care for granted). The shadow side of this marker is depression.
Finally, I bear the Star of Neptune gift marker (the star in the base of my palm drawn in red below), which is the gift of deep empathy and spirituality. This is a gift for feeling into the pain of others and being able to access the collective unconscious and deep roots of inner being. The penalties for not using this gift are powerlessness and despair. This gift marker can easily become overwhelming for the bearer if not utilized. The shadow side is being overwhelmed by human suffering and being victimized.
The penalty themes that emerge here are overwhelm, victimization, self-destruction, despair, disillusionment, and powerlessness (trust), finally resulting in the shadow of depression. That’s a lot, right?!? 🤦🏻♀️ I can safely tell you I’ve lived through all of them . . . one must walk through the fire to burn brightly for others. There was a time in my life where I had to be on anti-depressant medication; I wasn’t living my purpose then and I was being penalized in every way, because I was stuck in my shadow. The good news is, I’ve never read a pair of hands as extreme as mine . . . not once! But, if I can climb out of a hole that can be this extreme, I promise your challenges, the ways you could be penalized for not using your gifts, and the shadow side that needs integration, are worth exploring to actualize your gifts and purpose fully! Themes emerge to reinforce our priorities. Our souls have a purpose that wants to be fulfilled. Awareness is the way through, out, and into the light of actualization! 🌟
